The Yeah You's release debut video "15 minutes"
tubetechnews.jpg
New British pop duo The Yeah You's have unleashed the video for their anthemic debut single '15 minutes', due for release June 15th 2009.

Signed to Universal Island, The Yeah You's are comprised of Mike Kintish and Nick Ingram and are heavily tipped for chart-topping success industry-wide.

"There is an unavoidably brilliant thing going on in their tunes ... meet this year's Mika." The Guardian

“Tunes so massive they would dominate your field of vision if you were standing 80 miles away” NME

The song and video strike a chord with society’s obsession with fame. Mike Kintish comments “Warhol’s adage that in the future everyone would be famous for 15 Minutes really came true with the advent of reality TV. 15 Minutes is our retort to Andy in the hope that our career lasts as long as his did!”

The video is directed by Harvey, also known for videos for the likes of Girls Alound, The Saturdays and Sugababes. You may also notice a brief appearance from former Eastenders superbitch Trace Ann-Oberman, who played Chrissie.

15 Minutes was recorded in LA with Greg Wells (Mika / Katy Perry), mixed by Mark 'Spike' Stent (Oasis, Madonna, U2, Take That) and mastered by John Webber at Blue Pro Mastering. It the first single from their excellent debut album which is expected to hit shops and sites this coming August. These guys are going to be huge!
