Control Room

Our control room is spacious, air-conditoned and benefits from natural light through two frosted glass windows so you know what time of day it is (a problem sometimes after several days in a session!).

The control room is superbly packed with an exceptional line up of both vintage and new gear.

Hands on hardware is located either side of the engineer, below the conrol surface, while Pro Tools hardware, Computer Hardware and 2 Track gear is located at tne back of the control room. Enjoy a wider work space on the two wall mounted 23” Apple High Definition screen

Patched To The Max

Every single piece of equipment in Blue Pro Studios has its inputs and outputs routed through our central high quality balanced Bantam Patchbays so that in a session your routing options are limitless, easy and fast

Recording Booth

Our booth has been acoustically treated and designed to exceptional standards to optimise your recordings. Whether recording vocals, guitars, string quartets or drums, you will be impressed by the results. We are particularly proud of the drum sounds achieved here.

The floated booth is also hard wired through to our central Bantam Patchbay and offers up to 16 inputs or outputs to or from the control room

The Lounge

Make full use of the spacious lounge where you can sit back and relax between takes, eat lunch (if you have an assistant booked they will be happy to go out and get it for you) and watch TV (freeview).

All clients can also have unrestricted wireless broadband internet access for the duration of sessions so you can sit back and update your myspace, post your blogs or even start sending out your material as it gets finished in the studio!

Kitchen

Clients can also make full use of the Kitchen. If you have an assistant on your session they will happy to collect or order lunch for you from a selection of local restaurants.

Storage

We have an additional storage space to house cases for all your guitars and drums during sessions so that it doesn’t get under your feet.

CD Reference Library, Vinyl Sample Archive & DVD Movie Collection

When recording, producing, mixing or mastering, some clients continually reference other commercial material that they may wish to emulate or are influenced by. With this in mind we have an extensive collection of material on hand. Just ask your engineer in your session.

We also have several hundred movies available for clients to watch during sessions on request and a vinyl sample archive.
