John Webber

With an array of credits to his name from Jazz and Rock through to Pop and House, John has earnt the respect of major artists and labels for both his mixing and mastering work.

Although a mastering specialist his exceptional understanding and experience of the most technical aspects of the recording, mixing and production process sets him apart from the other engineers.

On the importance of Mastering John states, "Mastering is the link between the artist's vision and the listener's enjoyment. It  is one of the most underestimated parts of the musical process and the right master is essential in getting maximum impact for your music". John prides himself on delivering the same high standards whether the client is a debuting independent or major label artist, a personal gripe with some of the industy's other mastering houses.

John also holds a degree from the London College of Music and has produced music for corporate advertisments including Curry's, Intel, Dell & Nikon.

Gavin Cheung (Nookie)

Better known as Nookie, Gavin Cheung has, since the early '90s, been one of the leading lights in the Drum & Bass and House scenes.  To his credit are anthems such as ‘Give A Little Love’ ('94) and ‘The Sound of Music’ ('95), two of the very early underground rave anthems that established a worldwide status for him.  With hits to his name on numerous labels including Reinforced, Moving Shadow, Good Looking (LTJ Bukem’s label), Sony Japan & Dread, there is little doubt to the impact he has made over his career.

He has worked with many great artists and in 1998 he got to work with one of his all time heroes Larry Heard aka Mr Fingers. This was released through Sony Japan and included the Ibiza/Café Del Mar classic “Paradise”.

His status as a remixer continues to rise, not least due to his interpretation of Goldie’s instant classic ‘Inner City Life’. Other artists to have received the Nookie remix treatment include Cutty Ranks, Flourgon & Ninjaman, Doc Scott, Urban Shakedown, Omni Trio, Adam F, Ganja Crew and MC Conrad. DJs who have helped promote his work over the years include Fabio, Grooverider, LTJ Bukem and Ray Keith.
